Ethan at the Anchorage Creeks Cleanup this Saturday!
Come on down and lend a hand! Ethan will be at the Anchorage Creeks Cleanup on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00am - 12:00pm. You can join Ethan at Westchester Lagoon or volunteer your time at locations all over the city.
During the last few weeks, Ethan traveled across Alaska:
- In Nome he attended the joint Kawerak/Norton Sound board meeting in Nome and walked around town with Mayor Denise Michaels
- Down the Kenai Peninsula where he spoke with the folks who run the Central Kenai Peninsula Hospital about trying to balance the amazing innovations in healthcare with the lack of access.
- In Homer where he met residents at the Captain’s Roast Coffee Shop and spoke about ways to offset the high cost for fuel throughout our state.
- In Soldotna where he addressed the Chamber of Commerce and shared his strategy to restore trust in government and move forward from the recent scandals.
- In Kenai to visit the ConocoPhillips LNG plant and speak with Mayor John Williams about the closing of Agrium and the need for new job development in the region for economic stability.
- And to the Sterling Senior Center where he had a wonderful time talking to residents such as Dorothy Westfall and Dillon & Jean Kimple about the benefit of the great facility they’re in the process of remodeling.
