Democratic congressional hopefuls square off

Ethan joined his Democratic opponents Diane Benson and Jake Metcalfe at the Alaska Wilderness Recreation and Tourism Association Candidates’ Forum to discuss the importance of capping greenhouse gasses and developing ecotourism in Alaska. When Benson and Metcalfe wanted to discuss Don Young’s legal troubles, Ethan said: “If we’re going to change the kind of politics that we’re engaged in, we’re going to have to lift ourselves up. And throwing rocks at an obvious target doesn’t elevate the conversation.”
