Debate Livens Up When Candidates Query Each Other
Five of the six candidates for US Congress squared off for the first time as part of the ComFish tradeshow in Kodiak. The debate was limited to fisheries issues, but touched on a wide range of topics, from Crab Rationalization, to the proposed Pebble Mine, to global warming’s potential effects on the fishing industry. Ethan received perhaps the loudest applause of the night, when he responded to a question about processor quotas, with a simple “No processor quotas.”
