Democrats held their state convention at the Palmer Fairgrounds last weekend. In the cavernous Raven Hall, candidates were luring wanderers with snacks. Ethan Berkowitz, running for Don Young’s U.S. House seat, had Red Vines in a jar that read “AK Red to Blue Vines.”

The Democratic State Convention wrapped up yesterday in Palmer. In the upcoming Presidential election, Alaska delegates will be split: Hillary Clinton will get 3, while Obama will take 11 delegates. Meanwhile Alaskan Democrats running for state and national offices spoke to supporters.
