Dear Volunteers,

First, we witnessed outstanding participation in the caucuses that really underscored what people keep saying – “It’s time for change!” Next, we had several great volunteer events and earned support from across Alaska and the country. And recently, Ethan’s been in the news talking about integrity in government.

There’s a lot happening in March too, and we’re looking to you to help maintain the momentum needed to send Ethan to Washington DC. Here a few ideas on how you can help:

• Take the lead and organize your community for Ethan! Our goal is to expand the statewide network we have in communities across Alaska. Send me an email for more info.
• Listen to the ComFish Fisheries Debate (”Candidates for U.S. Congress talk fish!”) on Thursday, March 20th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. This lively, two hour event is broadcast live via the Alaska Public Radio Network from host station KMXT/Kodiak.
• Write a letter to the editor of your newspaper telling friends and neighbors why you support Ethan.
• Yard signs! Get to the top of the first-come first-served list for yard signs by “yard signing-up” for signs through our website!
• Hold a community meeting to increase local awareness of Ethan’s campaign and recruit more volunteers.
• Wear an “Ethan Berkowitz for Congress” button — or print your own sign — and start a conversation about this year’s election.
• Let us know about events in your community or organization.
• Share your thoughts about the issues that are important in your area.
• Most of all, we’re looking for creative ideas from our volunteers. Please tell us how you think you can help and give us ideas for activities and efforts to rally support for Ethan.
